Transparant colors in imported jpg

i imported an jpg picture to the UI after i deleted the background i didnt need, but when i upload the jpg to unity the deleted background that should be transparent is all white. how can i make the deleted background not visible in unity, couldnt find a soulotion, plz help. below is the jpg and the damn white background.
