I am working on a project where a requirement is to support over 100 languages with an aim to expand this list over time as well.
I have found that Unity Text manages well with Latin characters, but has several issues with other alphabets, e.g. Modern Arabic, Aramaic, Thai etc.
We have found a solution to use a separate system to render text to texture and then render this texture in place of the Unity Text component. However, this is incredibly time consuming and memory intensive.
